Dr. Peter Schropp is professor of studies related to non-alcoholic beverages and sensory at Doemens, being also the headmaster of the “Doemens Water Sommelier” course. He coaches the field of tastings and sensory perception. Dr. Schropp is also the director of the “Union for Water Sommeliers”.
Moreover his formation in water sommelier, he also does numerous events all around the country and abroad, especially in fields related to bottled water of the UM, like the Day of the annual mineral indulgence or some seminars as they can be the one of “Minerals-sensory evaluators”, the “mineral ambassador” or the “mineral expert”. In addition to his job in Doemens GmbH Academy, he’s worked as the CEO of the Water Sommelier Union eV, a group who gathers all certified water sommeliers. The purpose of this association is to promote moral occupation obligations and the economic interests of water sommeliers, also motivating the water and bottled drinking culture.
